Like a Rose, breaking through the Concrete.

Lani Rodriguez explains her day in the life as a Teacher at Lomitas Elementary School in Victorville, CA. Lani discusses life as a teacher on how adapting to distanced learning for now could be the new "norm". She mentions that Instructing through this pandemic has been very challenging for the entire school system for the community to adapt, but with amazing programs and frame-work models like Social Emotional Learning (SEL), and the E.X.C.E.L Model, the youth in her classes will always be prepared for what comes their way!   

As for being a Teacher, Lani loves it! This is her calling and if you honestly listen through the whole episode you'll agree just as much as we do. She has been a Teacher for 4-years now and although she currently teaches 3rd grade, Lani has managed multiple elementary grade levels like a BOSS!

We know you always ask "Why me", but honestly you're just one of the amazing role models that the children need and can rely on especially in an unfair year that the entire community is having. We look forward to supporting you with more supplies & snacks for your school as well as many other Junior and Elementary schools in the High Desert as the new school year begins, and we also look forward in providing guest speakers or community collaboration for the children with parents permission.  

A day in the life as a teacher is never easy, education is an automatic conduit for children and it's important to give recognition to the powerful educational leaders that are equipping our generations to come for SUCCESS.
